The "State of Georgia" did not execute Troy Davis...

Need evidence?

Ok.

Open a new window or tab.

Go to your favorite online atlas (i.e. mapquest, google earth...) or better, get your globe if you have one.

Locate the "State of Georgia" on the map.

Notice anything?

ANYTHING??

Let me help you.

The "State of Georgia" is simply a landmass on a map (or globe). As such, "The State of Georgia" simply sits there (on the map), day after day, millennium after millennium , doing what ALL "states" (areas of land, trees, rivers) do.

Too simplistic? Too amateurish?

Maybe, maybe not.

Let the evidence speak for itself.

Since you're looking at "The State of Georgia" on the map (aren't you?) - ask it this question point blank:

"Did you execute Troy Davis on last night?"

If your map responded in any manner with a yes or no, this exercise is over (for obvious reasons), but my gut tells me that the inanimate object made no response at all....

So what exactly is the point of the exercise?

Glad you asked.

"States" / "countries" / "nations" / "courts" consist of people.

Most of these decision-making people are classified as "white."

The effective majority of these people believe in and practice the religion of "White Supremacy".

I DID NOT SAY THAT THEY ALL DO,  but I DID SAY THAT THE EFFECTIVE MAJORITY DO.

The few that do not are ineffective and statistically  irrelevant as they did not have the power to stop the more powerful white people from executing two people (one "white" and one non-"white") on last night.

"States" (land, trees,& rivers) do not and can not practice non-justice, however, the white people who believe in and practice White Supremacy do.

The first step toward producing /justice/ is recognizing the #1 obstacle in the process.
